The Golegã Horse Fair is Portugal’s most famous equestrian festival, where tradition, culture, and the elegance of the Lusitano horse come together. Every November, the charming town of Golegã becomes the heart of Portugal’s equestrian world during the National Horse Fair. Known as the “Capital of the Horse,” it welcomes riders, breeders, and visitors from around the globe to celebrate the noble Lusitano. The festival blends thrilling competitions, parades, and traditional costumes with the lively atmosphere of music, roasted chestnuts, and local wine — a unique cultural experience where history and passion for horses truly come alive.
Every year, we welcome a small international group of 4 to 6 returning clients and friends from all over the world who join us again for this unforgettable experience.
Spaces are limited, which creates an intimate and friendly atmosphere. The idea is simple and special: riders who have already lived this experience share the days with new participants, creating a unique group where stories, knowledge, and enthusiasm are exchanged. Together, the group enjoys the magic of the Golegã Horse Festival, sharing unforgettable moments, authentic emotions, and a true sense of connection — not only with the Lusitano horses, but also with each other.
