MY BIOGRAFY

I am a native of Portugal, and my journey with horses began at a young age in a culture deeply devoted to their history and significance. I've become a renowned Portuguese rider and instructor with extensive expertise in Classical Dressage and Working Equitation.

As an accomplished equestrian, my deep passion for the sport has earned me numerous accolades, including:

Two National Vice-Championships in The Portugal Cup
A Bronze Medal in The Portugal Cup
Four gold medals as Regional Champion

I am also an accredited instructor certified by the Portuguese Federation (FEP) and have served as Mafra School Rider for the Portuguese Army. My passion extends beyond riding, holding a degree in Engineering and Equine Biomechanics Management, enhancing my understanding of the horse and rider relationship.

I am qualified to teach all levels of Dressage up through Grand Prix, as well as Working Equitation. My ability to connect with riders at all levels has been demonstrated through:

2004 Gold Medal at The International Festival of the Lusitano Horse

I came to Equiliberdade after a long period of feeling insecure around horses and unsure if riding was still for me. Within just a few days, that started to change.
